Project overview
About
The goal of this project was to create a campaign for a nonprofit organization that I felt personally connected to. Having grown up fostering cats for Uxbridge Cat Rescue, choosing them for this project was an easy decision.
I developed a fundraising event centred around selling calendars to support the rescue. This involved designing the calendar itself, along with promotional posters to advertise the event and encourage community participation.

Non-Profit Campaign

Timeline
From start to finish this project took 5 weeks to complete
The Final Result
The final result brings the campaign to life through playful design and bright colours that capture the target audience’s attention. By taking a fresh and creative approach, the calendar stands out from previous designs while celebrating the unique personalities of the cats and encouraging support for the rescue.
The Design
The calendar pages work together to create a cohesive design while highlighting each cat’s unique personality. Each month features a different scene inspired by the changing seasons, keeping the calendar engaging and appealing to the target audience. The promotional posters carry this visual style throughout the campaign, using consistent design elements to tie everything together and create a unified look.
Style Choice
I wanted the campaign to reflect the unique personalities of cats, celebrating how each one has its own quirks and character. To capture this, I kept the design light and fun, incorporating a hand drawn style to give the visuals a playful, personal feel.
Research
Research was an important first step in developing an effective campaign. I began by learning more about Uxbridge Cat Rescue, its mission, and its audience to better understand how to connect with the community and promote the organization in a meaningful way.
